As I reflect on our Savior this time of year I have a new perspective with my new experiences as a mother. What a miraculous event it must have been! I definitely feel for Mary on a donkey and nine months pregnant. The Lord favored her, yet she did not have an ideal delivery. I need to remember the Lords affection for me even when things are not picture perfect. I see how family and friends adore Isaac, yet he is simply another baby (though special to us) in the grander scheme of things. "Oh come let us adore Him" takes on new meaning when I think that angels and kings came to worship the baby Jesus. I'm grateful for His amazing entrance into this world and for all He did for me during His life. Merry Christmas!
